Nomads of the Seas offers an entirely new way of exploring Chile’s verdant and rich Patagonia – by air, land, and water. The boat, Atmosphere, is perfectly designed to the last detail, offering 28 passengers a pleasant cruise with 2 Bell 407 helicopters, 6 speed boats, and an efficient Hurricane 920 Zodiac, as well as several jet boats, sea kayaks, river rafts, and more.

The journey from Santiago International Airport is 95 minutes by plane to Puerto Montt Tepual, followed by a 15 minute car transfer. Direct helicopter landing is possible.

During your expedition, you are bound to be captivated by fly-fishing, whale, dolphin and bird watching, and photographing the surrounding nature. You can undertake an expedition to glaciers and go trekking, horse riding, sea kayaking or rafting. A boat trip in Patagonia offers unforgettable experiences and a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the last virgin, unexplored areas on Earth.

Atmosphere features a comfortable and elegant interior design, a spa with thalasso-therapy pools, gourmet cuisine, wine tasting, and pleasant hospitality that is ensured during the stay by the professional 32 member crew.

Model itinerary – 8 days / 7 nights on board:

Day 1: Boarding, departure from Puerto Montt, sailing around the volcanoes Osorno, Calbuco, and Tronador.

Day 2: The island bay of Anchemo, a view of the blue glaciers in Puntiagudo and the steep walls of the Andes. Trekking to the glaciers, volcanoes, and lagoons while bird watching. There is an option of sea kayaking with dolphins, seals, and bird watching. Also a helicopter flight to remote bays and rivers for fly-fishing.

Day 3: Tic Toc Bay with a view of Corcovado’s Volcano and national park. A visit to penguin and seal colonies, cormorants, and local ducks. Helicopter flights to glaciers, trekking, nature photography, and fly-fishing.

Day 4: Emerald glaciers at Melimoyu Volcano, fly-fishing, a trip by Zodiac to watch dolphins, whales, and birds.

Day 5: Ventisquero Sound. A trip by Zodiac to a national park on Magdalena Island, visit waterfalls, go dolphin, seal and bird watching, trekking, fly-fishing in one of the most beautiful systems of fjords, and visit hot springs.

Day 6: Guatecas Archipelago with its unique biodiversity and an ecosystem consisting of hundreds of magical islands. A trip by Zodiac to see seals and albatrosses, kayaking into the fjord, fly-fishing in remote lagoons, and take a panoramic helicopter flight.

Day 7: See a bay in the Leptepú Fjord with an amazing waterfall, walk through a fuchsia forest with thousands of hummingbirds, take a helicopter flight to lagoons, fly-fishing, rafting in the fjord, and visit some hot springs.

Day 8: Return to Puerto Montt and disembark.
